Laura&#8217;s thesis &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/etd.ohiolink.edu\/pg_10?202183187661909::NO:10:P10_ETD_SUBID:164581\">Comparing Bioretention Cell and Green Roof Performance in Parma, O<\/a>H&#8221; was the culmination of three years of work at the Cleveland Metroparks&#8217; Watershed Stewardship Center, an innovative research and education testbed for green infrastructure. Laura&#8217;s project was supported by funds from Cleveland Metroparks&#8217; Emerald Necklace Endowment Fund and the Yoram Eckstein Scholarship at Kent State University. <\/p>\n<p>Laura investigated the hydrometeorological controls on event- and seasonal-scale hydrologic performance of two bioretention cells and a green roof at the Watershed Stewardship Center, as well as quantifying the dynamics of nitrate and phosphate in green roof outflow. The next stage of the project is to turn Laura&#8217;s great work into publications.
