Become a hydrologist.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past 18 months, <a href=\"http:\/\/arizonageology.blogspot.com\/2009\/12\/hiring-trends-in-geosciences.html\">hydrology hires have increased 30%<\/a>, while geology hires have decreased by an equal amount.\u00a0 US News and World Report also lists hydrologist as one of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.usnews.com\/money\/careers\/articles\/2009\/12\/28\/americas-best-careers-2010-science-and-technology.html\">50 best careers for 2010<\/a>.
