Firstly, <a href=http:\/\/scienceblogs.com\/greengabbro>Maria<\/a> is participating in the <a href=http:\/\/www.donorschoose.org\/>Donors Choose<\/a> funding drive. <a href=http:\/\/www.donorschoose.org\/donors\/viewChallenge.html?id=18965>The projects that she&#8217;s trying to get funded<\/a> are all aimed at bringing geological goodness to those in educational need. Plus, now <a href=http:\/\/scienceblogs.com\/greengabbro\/2008\/10\/donors_choose_update.php>she&#8217;s even offering <del>bribes<\/del> prizes<\/a> to those who donate. If you haven&#8217;t already, think about sticking a few dollars in the pot.<br \/>\nSecondly, I&#8217;ve just registered myself for the <a href=http:\/\/www.scienceonline09.com\/index.php\/wiki\/>ScienceOnline09 Blogging conference<\/a>, being held next January in North Carolina. It would be cool if we could get a posse of geobloggers in the same place for once. We could even have our own session&#8230; in a manner of speaking.
