The geologist invasion of Scienceblogs continues

Well, well, well. No sooner have I finished celebrating Kim’s arrival, than the geological output of Scienceblogs is further bolstered by the arrival of Erik Klemetti, whose blog, Eruptions, does exactly what it says on the tin, keeping you well-informed about the latest volcanic action from around the world.
Pop over and say hello, and to get the latest updates on Galeras and Redoubt (which is being a bit of a tease, it seems).

  1. Chris, the invasion is even bigger than you thought. The new ScienceBlogs Brasil has one great blog written by Brazilian geologist Claudia Chow, Ecodesenvolvimento (, and although I’m a Soil Scientist, not a geologist, I often write about geologic matters affecting soil formation and composition.
