Back from the (almost) dead

The silence that fell on this blog last week was unplanned; I was struck down by a rather evil bout of flu, which kept me bid-ridden for much of last week. Given that at certain delirious points I was half convinced I’d merged with my duvet or something, it’s probably for the best I didn’t try to commit any thoughts to the internet.
Anyway, this means I have some catching up to do, on the real life front as well as on the blogging one. Watch this space.

If that’s the state you were in, it might have been more interesting if you had put up some posts.

I bet fever dreams would make for some interesting games of Mornington Crescent.
    Glad you’re feeling better.

Nasty! I reckon that would have led to some funny posts, but we’ll never know!
If you ‘merged with your duvet’ did that mean you were a feather covered geologist?

  4. Did you stop to consider when you had purchased the sheets, duvet and other bedclothes on your bed? Could that duvet have been allochthonous?
Welcome back to the lucid, conscious, and well.

Oh no. I hope I didn’t give anyone my germs. Though yours sounds more intense but quicker than my crud. Anyways, glad your better now.

Yep, sounds like you got con-crud. :)
Glad to hear you’ve gotten better. Your account of your experience has raised a question in my mind: Can fever dreams -as they are known- be compared to drug and religious experiences? To what degree can religious visions and experiences be compared profitably to delirium?
